The Cindafit Way
Through my philosophies I hope to inspire women all over the world to create a healthy nourishing lifestyle. One which allows them to be the best version of themselves, to feel comfortable with who they are and to wake everyday and love the person they are looking at!
GOAL SETTING
I am a firm believer in realistic and achievable goals. I know my potential and will always dream big! If I believe in myself enough and I’m prepared to work hard I can reach any goal I set out to achieve. The biggest step is for you to believe you can achieve it and know what needs to be done to do your best. Be adaptable in your approach and always have a backup plan.
No matter who you are or what your circumstances, you can always achieve your goals. I’m not promising it will be easy, but I guarantee it will be worth it. We will all encounter obstacles over time; the secret is to change our direction to reach that goal, not the decision to get there.
“I find it essential to start each day with a plan. Rather than just letting ‘stuff happen’ I have a to-do list! This gives me a reason to jump out of bed in the morning. Goals give me something to achieve each day, and more control over how my day unfolds!”
Yes, it would sometimes be easier to give up, but try focusing on the small things rather than the bigger picture and day by day you will get closer to your goals! Remember, it is not a race and dreams will not to be achieved overnight.
MOTIVATION
I always put 100% into everything I do. I may not be the strongest, or the fastest but you can bet I work my HARDEST! I strongly believe that if you’re going to do something, do it to the best of your ability.
You need to believe in yourself and that you can achieve anything you put your mind to! If you want something in life, YOU are the only one who can make it happen.
The process of change can initially be hard, you often need remind yourself why you started especially when that initial motivation “spark” runs out.

HAPPINESS
To live a happy life try focusing on doing things to make you smile. The best thing about life is we are the only ones who are responsible for changing what we are not happy with.
Through life we experience plenty of learning curves. Starting out my fitness journey took hard work and sacrifice. But, I have been able to turn the one thing in my life that I am truly passionate about into a successful enterprise. I believe if you love what you do and are willing to put in the hard work the rest will fall into place.
“Life presents us with choices every single day. Some seem insignificant whilst others can be life-changing. What you do with these choices is what really matters!”
RISKS
Mistakes are not a bad thing! However, fear of your mistakes will keep you from moving forward. Don’t be scared of making a mistake, be scared of not making one. There is no learning and personal growth without mistakes.
“What is the secret? Find ‘your thing’ and do it better than anyone else does it; even if you think ‘that thing’ has no value. I promise you it does, and I promise you that other people will see its value too.”
COURAGE
Sometimes we need to be brave and step outside our comfort zone.
I don’t believe it is good enough to just do something you are “good at” or that you have an interest in. You owe it to yourself to find a way to do what you love. Find what drives you and what you are passionate about. It is never too late to admit to yourself what makes you truly happy.

NOURISHMENT
Each meal is an opportunity to nourish your body. Nutrition is not low fat, it’s not low calorie or about being hungry all the time. It is about providing your body with real, whole foods so that you are energised to live life to the full.
Your body makes new cells from the foods you eat. As the saying goes, you really are what you eat! You have to ask yourself, what do you want your body to be made of?
So say NO TO DIETS and STARVATION! Diets are so very deceiving. They promise the world, yet, give very little, except disappointment. Too many people are creating restrictions on what they eat. We need to go back to the basics, eating a wholesome diet with more colour, variety and nutrients including the five food groups!

POSITIVE MIND
It is important to focus on the positives in every situation. Releasing positive energy lets you be the best version of yourself. In my opinion, having a positive outlook is the key to having a happy and successful life.
“Let’s face it, life has a habit of throwing obstacles in our way. Having a ‘fall down and get back up attitude’ is the best way to overcome a setback!”
We don’t have to ‘try’ and fit in and waste energy impressing others. BE YOU! People will love and support you for who you are. Do what you LOVE and remember, sometimes it’s good to remind yourself that you don’t have to be doing what everyone else is doing.
When you free yourself from negative people you free yourself to be the best version of you.
HEALTHY VIBE
Life shouldn’t be about depriving yourself. My biggest tip is to concentrate on balance and being healthy!
There is an increasing amount of research to show that certain foods can help reduce the risk of cancer, heart disease, blood pressure and diabetes. Food is an effective remedy for everyday complaints such as bloating, poor digestion, stress, toxicity and lethargy.
Good nutrition is essential for good health. It doesn’t matter how much you exercise. If your diet is filled with processed, pre-packaged foods you will never be able to give your body what it needs to perform at its best every day.

FITNESS
Being fit is the best feeling. Since starting my fitness journey I try work out daily! It is a non-negotiable part of my day which I love because it clears my mind, is detoxifying and keeps me energised.
I must confess I never believed in strength training until two years ago! I thought that cardio was the answer to keeping myself ‘in shape’ and lifting weights was just for boys! How wrong I was! And like many women I didn’t realise the positive impact that strength training could have on my life! In conjunction with correct nutrition it has allowed me to sculpt a body I have only ever dreamed of!
No matter how busy life gets or how much pressure I am under I always feel better as soon as I have jumped off the treadmill or left the weights room! I am more focused and have more motivation for the challenges that lie ahead.
“Don’t just hit the gym to look better! That can’t be your only motivation otherwise you might become discouraged if you’re not seeing results. It’s about getting healthy!”
